Schedule for the Weekend

Registration

We have decided that there will not be a selection process for this experience. It is open to all past SJTI participants. In order to assist us in developing the curriculum for the weekend and to get a sense of the profile of the participants, we ask that you respond to the questions below. We have also decided to only offer the renewal experience “every other year”. Our next renewal will be in January of 2010 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Renewal Tuition: $400.00 per person

Since we are working very hard to keep our expenses low, we will not offer scholarships for the renewal experience. Also, we cannot honor refunds. We will however “roll over” your registration to the 2010 renewal experience which will be held in Ft. Lauderdale, FL in late January. Thanks to Jason Schreiber (SJTI June 2005 Springfield Alum) at the University of San Diego, we are happy to report that we have secured the Dana Resort on Mission Bay in San Diego, California for our renewal experience. The rate: $129.00 a night (singles and doubles). Bay View Rooms can be booked, subject to availability for an additional $40.00 a night). These rates are available 3 days pre and post but are subject to availability. The Dana on Mission Bay is the place for an unforgettable stay in San Diego. With a picture-postcard waterfront setting on Mission Bay less than a mile from the beach, The Dana offers everything for the perfect stay — whether it be a vacation, business, or special event.

An advanced deposit or credit card guarantee for the first night’s room and tax is due by December 1, 2007. Individuals must identify themselves as part of the Social Justice Training Institute at the time of making reservations in order to be eligible for the special group rate. Airline Reservations

The San Diego International Airport is located just minutes from the Dana on Mission Bay. Complimentary airport shuttle is available 7am to 10pm by calling the hotel direct at (619) 222 – 6440 from the baggage claim area. Parking at the resort is free. All major rental car companies are available at the airport.
